OP-1 Songs EP
Sketches From The Archive Of Insanity
To kick off what will be a busy release schedule over the next 12 months, Demis CousCous released the OP-1 Songs EP in July 2026.
Featuring 5 songs recorded using the Teenage Engineering OP-1 Field device, it is short a collection of lo-fidelity balladry that is not particularly typical of the music this device is generally used for.
The EP is available on all major streaming platforms and also as strictly limited edition hand painted CDR release on Bandcamp. Buy it HERE
There is also an ongoing series of 6 minute videos created by Demis CousCous on Youtube, featuring songs and audio collage on the OP-1 Field. These can be found on the Demis CousCous Youtube page HERE
Dog Kill Bird 20th Anniversary Edition
Work on the 20th Anniversary Edition of Dog Kill Bird is now well underway. This release will seek to keep the original soul of the release, but will tidy up the sloppy mix and improve overall fidelity.
The original master tapes were found in storage, and have been baked and digitised. The individual tracks have been tidied up, amp hum, throat clearing and breathing removed and we are very close to a special announcement regarding the remixing and mastering.
A strictly limited edition Vinyl release will be made available, ensuring the album survives the AI apocalypse. Needle and cardboard cone will not be included. You're on your own there.
More news on DKB20 and more new music to follow.

Clocking in at a weighty 25 tracks, Sketches... is a compilation of archive material. Representing some highlights of the last 15 years it represents orphaned songs from various aborted projects including a Serge Gainsbourg influenced orchestral pop album, a nautical themed musical, and the long lost Demis Four album.
In what began as a psychological cupboard clearing exercise, over 100 tracks were eventually whittled down to the 25 included here.
As most of the master tracks are no longer accessible, the songs here are presented 'as is' with only minor mastering processing applied to balance levels and remove some of the harsher frequencies. Beyond this they are the contemporary work print mixes from the time of recording as in many cases the original masters were unavailable or inaccessible.
Sketches From The Archive Of Insanity is available now on all major streaming platforms or to purchase from Bandcamp HERE
